Synchro- Team of the Snowsportacademy:
2nd place in World championships 2009
You could call it a seal of approval in quality to a ski-school
cause there are just the best-people participating in this demonstration skiing championship.
The snowsportacademy takes part on this teamsport-championships ince eleven years effectually.
Since 2005 our Synchro-team is the only skiteam in World sponsored by ING- Bank.
Unfortunately there was a bit lack of luck for the big victory.
The team around Günter Kogler, the head of the ski-school were able to win the tyrolian runner-up title three times in the past.
And that's not everything: The greatest success was the fourth place of Thomas Foschetti
at the austrian championship last year.
„As the only team from the area Kitzbühel we could achieve more than a respect-success
it was our first participation with 35 other teams.“
In 2005 the ING-synchro-team did the ISIA-World championship in Levi/Finland and got the good 5th place.
History of origins:
The first beginnings in demonstration and respective formation skiing were done early
cause we wanted to fit our ski-school in an representive image.
International this was done in so called inter-ski-congresses.
From this congresses there developed various competitions in national and international layers.
Also the technique changed from the pretty-skiing to a superior sport event.
The rating:
The team consists of six racers and is being judged in terms of
changing the formation, skiing technique, speed, changing radii, the beginning and finsish and finally
the overall picture of the formation.
